The Childcare Recruitment Company is a specialist in supplying all aspects of home based childcare: Nannies, Mother’s Helps, Maternity Nurses and After School Care.

We offer a free client consultation and listen closely to exactly what you are looking for, this enables us to match clients and our childcare specialists successfully.

Every single candidate is interviewed at length in person and vetted by us. All references and qualifications are checked and we recommend that all applicants instigate a Criminal Records Bureau check if they have not already done so.

Unlike many childcare agencies, our role does not end once we have found the right person to care for your children.

We provide important back-up including:

draft contracts
advice on salary increases and holiday entitlement
information on PAYE
cover for staff holidays or illness.

The Childcare Recruitment Company does not charge a registration fee. Fees are only due upon placement of a candidate.

Suggested Weekly Rates

Daily Nanny Ł350.00 - Ł500.00 (full time)

Part time rates Ł9.00 - Ł11.00 per hour

Live in Nanny Ł250.00 - Ł375.00 (full time)

Daily Mother’s Help Ł200.00 - Ł400.00 (full time)

Live in Mother’s Help Ł180.00 - Ł275.00 (full time)

Maternity Nurse (single baby)* Ł650.00 - Ł750.00 gross full time

Maternity Nurse (twins) Ł750.00 - Ł950.00 gross full time

Daily/ nightly Maternity Nurse* (single baby) Ł10.00 - Ł13.00 per hour

Daily/ nightly Maternity Nurse* (twins) Ł13.00 - Ł15.00 per hour

All figures quoted above are net except those for the Maternity Nurse. Please note that

Tax and National Insurance need to be added to the above figure. It is the Employer’s

responsibility to pay their employees Tax and National Insurance contributions.

In most instances Maternity Nurses and Temporary staff will sort out their own Tax and

National Insurance.

Schedule of Fees To Be Paid To The Agency

(all subject to Value Added Tax where applicable)

Daily Permanent Staff - 4 weeks net salary

Residential (live-in) Staff - 4 weeks net salary

Maternity Nurse - Ł20.00 per day or night or Ł90.00 per week

Temporary Staff (3 days+) - Ł20.00 per day or Ł90.00 per 5 day week.

Long Term Temporary Staff - 3 weeks net salary (any period between 3-16 weeks)

Temporary to Permanent Staff - 4 weeks net salary minus amount already paid in temporary fees.
